Born in Waverly, Iowa, Michael Talbott became a television and film star best known for his co-starring role as Detective Stanley Switek in the 1980s series Miami Vice. Some other television credits include MASH, Sanford and Son, The Jeffersons and Eight is Enough. Talbott also appeared in a number of films including Carrie, Big Wednesday, Any Which Way You Can, Used Cars, Manhunter and First Blood.
Talbott currently lives currently lives in his hometown of Waverly, Iowa and is an active member and advocate of the National Rifle Association (NRA). Other interests have included serving as a spokesperson and presenter for Panteao Productions, a production company and distributor of firearms and tactical videos.
