Former NFL Player Former Iowa Hawkeye Iowa Real Estate Sales

Matt Tobin is a Worthington, IA, native, earning all-state honors as a senior at Dyersville Beckman High School before taking his skills to the next level as an Iowa Hawkeye. Matt started the final 22 games of his Iowa career, seeing time at both left tackle and left guard. He earned honorable mention All-Big 10 accolades as a senior in 2012 and was named the recipient of the Brett Greenwood award following the season, which is given annually to the best walk-on student-athlete. A three-year letterman at the University of Iowa, Matt signed with the Eagles as a rookie free agent during the 2013 offseason. He made a big step in his second year with the Eagles, playing in 13 games and starting 7 of them at offensive tackle, and again in his 3rd season, playing in all 16 games and starting 13. Matt finished out his career playing for the Seattle Seahawks in 2017 and the New England Patriots in 2018. After football, Matt continues to follow his passion for the outdoors, working as a Land Specialist for High Point Land Company.
