Seth Benson was an exceptional scholar-athlete at Washington High in Sioux Falls, earning a 4.0 GPA, first-team elite all-state as a junior and senior, and was named the South Dakota Gatorade Player of the Year as a senior. He was also a standout in baseball, basketball, and track. Seth enrolled at the University of Iowa in 2018, redshirting his freshman year and demonizing opponents from the middle linebacker position ever since. Seth was named honorable mention All-Big Ten in 2020 and 2021 and finished his career with a successful senior campaign where he earned second-team recognition. He also maintained his academic excellence, consistently earning Dean’s List recognition and Academic All-Big Ten honors. Seth is a current NFL free agent.
