Jack Heflin is from Prophetstown Illinois where he earned first-team all-state recognition during his senior year. He holds the school record with 30 career starts. Following High School he joined the Northern Illinois Football Team where he was a 3-year defensive starter earning several honors including first-team all-conference and voted defensive MVP by the coaches. He joined the Iowa Hawkeyes in 2020 as a graduate transfer where he started all eight games as a defensive tackle and had a solid senior campaign with 13 solo tackles, 4 tackles for a loss, and a sack. Jack was signed by the Green Bay Packers in 2021 where he made the opening day roster and is a current member of the New Orleans Saints.
