As a result, Robb and his wife, Wendy, started Hunter’s Dream for a Cure, a charitable foundation that helps raise money for Sturge-Weber and other neurological diseases. Funding from the foundation helped launch the Sturge-Weber Clinical Research Center at Johns Hopkins Hospital, the first center of its kind in the U.S. The facility was renamed the Hunter Nelson Sturge-Weber Center. Hunter died in 2005 at age 5-1/2. The Nelsons continue to raise money for Hunter’s Dream through several charitable events, including their annual Celebrity Hunt for a Cure.
