Tyler Cropley, a Sioux City, Iowa native, emerged as a standout multi-sport athlete at Bishop Heelan High School, where he was a three-time All-State baseball selection. He continued his success at Iowa Western Community College, earning All-Region honors and helping the Reivers to consecutive NJCAA World Series appearances. Cropley then starred at the University of Iowa, posting a breakout senior season that earned him First Team All-Big Ten and All-American recognition. Drafted by the Washington Nationals in 2018, he later made his Major League debut with the Kansas City Royals in 2023. After retiring from professional baseball, Cropley returned to Eastern Iowa, where he is the Scouting Director for Prep Baseball Iowa.
