Colton has been involved with Aiming for a Cure since he was young when he attended his first AFC benefit auction. His dad, Brent, has been the auctioneer for Aiming for a Cure for more than 15 years. Colton has been helping with the live auction for the majority of those 15 years. As a company, Wears Auctioneering does dozens of benefit auctions a year but Aiming for a Cure has always been one of their favorites. The board and committee members have become great friends and Aiming for a Cure has been an event Colton looks forward to all year. As a passionate outdoorsman and working in the outdoor industry, Aiming for a Cure has always been a good fit. “I feel very fortunate to be able to serve on the committee and be able to make a difference in the lives of the children and families struggling with this terrible disease.” Colton lives in Marengo, IA with his wife Natalie, and daughters Harper and Josie.
