I have been a pediatric oncology nurse at the University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital for 8 years now. Everyday I see the impact that Aiming for a Cure has for our patients and their families, and the hope they bring to them on their journey! I was involved with Aiming for a Cure in high school as our school had a fundraiser for the foundation. It was amazing to be apart of the foundation then! And when the opportunity arose to be apart of the committee now, I jumped at the chance! It is an honor to be apart of Aiming for a Cure and to carry on Ben’s legacy and mission!
